A study in TORIS, step by step
On a fictional example we check whether a change in service helps customers come back; this is a diagram, not a working app or a client result.

Stages of the study
1
The owner of three bike repair shops asks whether a message offering a service check, sent since 1 September 30 days after the first repair, helps customers come back.
2
TORIS records the goal and the hypothesis: among customers after their first repair, more will book a service check within 14 days of the message than before the change.
3
You choose the measure from the proposals. The share of customers who booked a check speaks to coming back directly; the number of visits and revenue also depend on the season and prices.
4
Regular observation starts only after you approve it. From then on TORIS recalculates the measure every week and records the result in the study.
5
TORIS records the result week after week. Puls, the list of checks and situations that need attention, reports that in week three one shop did not send its data.
6
The owner assesses the results: they are usually higher than before the change, but the weekly groups are small and one week is incomplete. The owner decides to keep observing for another 6 weeks.
